Sky-Bound is a pilot study application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Data We Collect

Sky-Bound is designed to work offline. The majority of your data never leaves your device.

  • Study progress — flashcard review history, test scores, study session logs, and spaced repetition state are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data is not transmitted to any server.
  • Subscription status — managed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store payment information. Apple handles all billing, receipts, and subscription management.
  • Feedback reports — if you choose to submit feedback through the in-app reporting feature, the report content and your email address (provided by your mail client) are transmitted via email. This is initiated only by you.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect personal identification information
  • We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs in the iOS app
  • We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties
  • We do not use cookies in the iOS app
  • We do not collect location data

Website

The sky-bound.app website is a static marketing site hosted on Vercel. It does not use cookies or collect personal data. If you submit your email through the Ground Connect waitlist form, that email is stored solely for the purpose of notifying you when Ground Connect launches.

Data Storage and Security

All study data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, your study progress is permanently removed. We recommend using iCloud backup to preserve your data across device changes.

Children's Privacy

Sky-Bound is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
