Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sky-Bound ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Sky-Bound is a pilot study application that provides flashcards, practice tests, interactive tools, study plans, and reference materials for aviation certification preparation. The App is available as a free version with limited content and a paid subscription ("Pro") with full access.

Educational Disclaimer

Sky-Bound is a supplementary study tool. It is not a replacement for formal flight training, FAA-approved ground school, or instruction from a certified flight instructor. Content is provided for educational purposes and may not reflect the most current FAA regulations, procedures, or standards. Always verify information with official FAA publications (FAR/AIM, ACS, PTS) and your flight instructor before relying on it for flight operations or certification testing.

Subscriptions

• Sky-Bound Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription through the Apple App Store.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

Intellectual Property

All content in Sky-Bound — including flashcards, practice questions, study materials, interactive tools, and design elements — is the intellectual property of Sky-Bound and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Extract, scrape, or systematically download content from the App
• Share your subscription access with others
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Limitation of Liability

Sky-Bound is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected. In no event shall Sky-Bound or its creators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
